How you begin your morning sets the tone — for both of you. Build simple, repeatable rituals that strengthen trust and calm.

  1. The Shared Stretch (1 minute)
    Before screens, mirror your cat’s slow stretch. Reach overhead, then fold. It signals safety and starts the day grounded.

  2. Sunlight & Hydration (2 minutes)
    Open blinds for a gentle light cue. Refresh water in a wide, shallow bowl (or fountain). Many cats drink more when water is fresh and visible.

  3. Measured Breakfast (3 minutes)
    Feed at consistent times. Use a digital scale or measuring scoop to prevent overfeeding. For fast eaters, try a slow feeder to reduce gulping.

  4. Micro-Play for Bonding (2–3 minutes)
    A short wand-toy session burns predatory energy and reduces dawn zoomies. End with a treat or a few kibbles to complete the “hunt-eat-rest” cycle.

  5. Litter Check & Quick Tidy (1 minute)
    Scoop, top up, and sweep granules. A clean box supports consistent use and better air quality.
